Hi everyone! I am Chih-Hsuan Kuo, and you can also call me Wish. I am currently a student pursuing a master degree of Entertainment Technology at the Entertainment Technology Center (ETC), Carnegie Mellon University.
I am interested in interactive techniques, especially those combined with computer graphics or music. I became interested in interactive techniques when I attended an open house event for labs in my freshman year. I was infatuated with VR technology and the virtual film set since users could experience being a director, photographer, or editor in the virtual environment. I could even make a short video clip on a film set without having the associated high costs and without needing real actors or a large space for the film set. I want to contribute to those techniques which are highly human-centered.
Moreover, I’m passionate about the entertainment industry. At ETC, we are not only making games, but also creating memorable experience. What’s more, we use rapid prototyping and communication across roles in different disciplines to complete sprints within a tight time frame, which makes me feel comfortable while working with people from different backgrounds and knowledge.
